Carolina Villacampa is Professor of Criminal Law at the Universitat de Lleida, where she is Lecturer since 1998 and directs the Master’s Degree on Criminal Justice System. She has balanced her docent activity at the Universitat de Lleida with her jurisdictional activity as part time Judge and her docent activity in some other Spanish, European and South American Universities. Her main research topics in recent years have been focused on gender violence, different types of trafficking in human beings, prostitution policies, online sexual victimization of minors and victims’ protection against secondary victimization. She has participated in 19 competitive research projects, 5 of them she has led, the lasts ones on contemporary forms of gender violence and human trafficking. She has authored around 150 scientific publications, including books and papers in indexed journals. Among her numerous scientific publications during the last years the following titles stand out: “Introduction to Victimology” (2019), “Forced marriages: juridical and empirical resarch from a victimological perspective” (2019), “Spanish criminal policy on gender violence” (2018), “Stalking: juridical, phenomenological and victimological analysis” (2018), “International criminal policy” (2017),  “The Statute for Victims of Crime” (2015), “The crime of online child grooming or telematic sexual proposal to minors” (2015),  “Criminal protection of minors’ sexual indemnity” (2015), “Organized crime: a challenge to the current criminal policy” (2013), “Prostitution: towards legalization?” (2012) or “The crime of trafficking in human beings” (2011).

Extensive curriculum
